Rumor: Dustin Byfuglien considering 3 teams for NHL comeback

Dustin Byfuglien recently walked away from $14 million dollars to leave Winnipeg and word surrounding the bruising defenseman is, he's considering only a few teams to kick start his NHL comeback.

One NHL executive told NHLTR:

Byfuglien is only going to come back to the right situation, where he will get significant playing time and is ideally, out of the spotlight. He's always preferred to be out of the spotlight, so it doesn't make a ton of sense for him to sign with someone like Montreal or Toronto. The million dollar question is what kind of shape he's in, and what's his motivation like for coming back

Believe is 'Big Buff' has his eyes set on a few clubs for next season, including the Colorado Avalanche, Florida Panthers, and Vancouver Canucks. Short-termed deal, with low-risk, high-reward, and if Byfuglien can get back to his 'old self' he can help any team win.
