Tampa Bay and Carolina voted 'NO' to the NHL's comeback
The NHL delivered some news earlier this week regarding the NHLPA voting yes to the 24-team playoff tournament, but it appears not everyone was on board. Reports have surfaced, that the Tampa Bay Lightning along with one other team, voted 'no' to coming back to play.
Alex Killorn, the Tampa Bay NHLPA rep, had this to say on why Tampa voted 'No' to coming back to this format:
The other team to vote no was the Carolina Hurricanes, but because of how the voting works, the 24-team playoff tournament will still continue to be the format in play.

I think there could be somewhat of a disadvantage. I know when you're playing a team that's been battling and actually went through a playoff series, it's a lot different than playing a couple of exhibitions game.To note, Killorn went on to mention the whole team voted 'yes' to coming back to play hockey, they just don't want anything to do with this format of play.
