Crazy rumor regarding what NHL has planned for playoff games

The NHL continues to put a plan in place for their phased approach to opening up into the Stanley Cup playoffs and a big discussion point has been what to do regarding the in-game experience. From production companies, to DJ's, the league is canvassing a number of different outlets to brainstorm the best approach.

According to an NHL employee, the look, feel, and production of the 'experience' will be very different for the players, and of course for all of us watching at home:
There seems to be a lot of chatter surrounding finding ways to get 'some' fans into the building safely. Perhaps 2000 or so spaced out, and all the other seats being filled with either cardboard cut outs, or seat coverings. Another aspect to consider is the sound. The league has discussed having a DJ play instrumental music during the entire game. Hard to see players accepting this, but at this point, anything is on the table. The TV production will look and feel different and expect some form of crowd noise implanted into the broadcast along with goal celebration songs for 'home' teams. Get ready for different, it's coming.
Are you ready!?
