Another Mike Babcock Scandal Surfaces

After the firing of Mike Babcock earlier this season, many players have come forward with unpleasant stories of playing under his tutelage. There are many critics of the decorated coach, and another one has voiced themselves publicly.

We have heard many stories about Babock this year. Mike Modano finished his career with 1499 games played and did not hit the 1500 mark due to the spite of Babock. Mike Commodore is another critic of Babcock and once called him a "piece of s**t." Of course, there was the notorious list he demanded of Mitch Marner, which was disclosed to the rest of his teammates.

Now, former Detroit Red Wings player. Tomas Kopecky has shared his poor experiences of playing under Mike Babcock from 2005-2009. On Marian Gaborik's Slovak podcast "Boris&Brambor", Kopecky said,
"He wasn't a good person but he was a great coach and a professional. He'd do anything to be successful, be it harsh critique or praise."
He said Babcock was not a good person, but would not speak poorly of his coaching ability. Will NHL organizations consider him for a bench job in the future?
