Chicago Blackhawks Veteran Opting Out Of NHL Playoffs

There are a number of Chicago Blackhawks players that are still 'unfit' to play that could have a significant impact on the team's playoff success. They're hoping that the status of these players will change, but veteran defenceman Brent Seabrook has opted out of the 2020 NHL Playoffs.

Seabrook was won 3 Stanley Cups as a member of the Blackhawks. He has been a member of the organization since he was selected 14th overall in 2003. 3 cups and 17 years with the organization; there's no doubt his decision is supported by his teammates and front office staff.
