Rumor: Calgary to make big trade offer to Columbus
The Calgary Flames are expected to make some big changes this upcoming off season as they have a wealth of players hitting the market, and a need for a spark on offense. While the likes of Matthew Tkachuk, Sean Monahan and Johnny Gaudreau are likely sticking around, the management has some flexibility as the team isn't loaded with no-move-clauses.
According to Aaron Portzline of the Athletic, the Calgary Flames have a ton of interest in Blue Jackets RW Josh Anderson. Anderson, who has battled some recent injury troubles, is capable of scoring 30 goals a season and plays a similar style to Capitals, Tom Wilson.

Sam Bennett would be a start, and perhaps even Dillon Dube or a draft pick along with Bennett. He's been unable to find a spot in Calgary and Columbus could use some of Bennett's toughness and scoring potential to replace Anderson down the road. East and west, could be a match there.Josh Anderson will be one of the hottest names on the market, fitting he could end up Flame.
