Rumor: Many Players Upset About Edmonton As Hub City

The Hub Cities have not yet been formally announced, but the NHL 2020 Playoffs are expected to be played in Toronto, Ontario and Edmonton, Alberta. Toronto is known as a fun and modern city, while Edmonton is known as a hardworking, lunch-bucket city. Some players are reported to be unhappy with the NHL's decision.


Though specific players have not been named, some players are not thrilled with the idea of playing in Edmonton. From an outsider perspective, the amenities and cohort quarantine plan seems fantastic. However, some players feel that it doesn't have the amenities and services of their home city.
