Rumor: Maple Leafs to make offers to several free-agents
GM, Kyle Dubas recently chatted with the media in the NHL's Bubble in Toronto and was very open and honest about where his attention lies. While he will be watching his Maple Leafs as close as anyone, Dubas also confirmed he's going to use this Bubble environment to take a look at some upcoming free-agents to be.
With being so close to the players both on and off the ice, it presents Dubas a chance to get up close and personal with many players, something that wouldn't be the case in other playoff formats.
Kyle Dubas, in the bubble, says he'll be "looking at various different free agents that might be available that are here and playing." Gives a unique opportunity for a GM to observe opposing players both on and off the ice.

While of course, no offers can be made, we would be curious to see who Dubas is introducing himself to, over the course of the next few weeks. No handshakes of course, but expect Dubas to keep a close eye on a collection of the following players:
Brenden Dillon, LHD - Washington Capitals
Justin Braun, RHD - Philadelphia Flyers
Trevor van Riemsdyk, RHD - Carolina Hurricanes
Kevin Shattenkirk, RHD - Tampa Bay Lightning
Zach Bogosian, RHD - Tampa Bay Lightning
Live look at Kyle Dubas once he found out all the eastern conference playoff teams were coming to his front door....
