Rumor: Contending team the favorite to sign Taylor Hall

The Taylor Hall saga is becoming as interesting as ever and all Hall wants to do is win playoff hockey games. While Hall awaits his free-agency to begin amidst complete disaster currently taking place in Arizona, it turns out an old coach could give one team a huge advantage.

John Hynes, who currently sits as the head coach of the Nashville Predators, has been noted as an 'X factor' in signing Hall to a contract. Hall and Hynes built a strong bond in New Jersey which could lead to a reunion in the music city. The Preds' will have the necessary cap space to make a deal work and Hall has been on record stating Hynes was one of the best and most supportive coaches he has ever had.

With Arizona's GM quitting and a ton of questions surrounding the function of the organization, it's unlikely Hall has any interest staying in the desert. Let's all wait and see how the playoffs unfold, but once their done, all the attention will be heading in Taylor Hall's direction.
