The Maple Leafs awaiting some huge news!

The Toronto Maple Leafs are packed with offensive punch as their team can score with any team in the league. However, it's their intangible players who support the core, and when those players are rolling, the Leafs are hard to beat. The leader of this group is Zach Hyman, and the Leafs are awaiting some huge news about the hard-working winger.

Hyman blocked a shot in practice and the team is concerned he may have broken his foot. Super-prospect Nick Robertson was promoted to the top line in Hyman's absence, skating alongside Auston Matthews and William Nylander. While the team doesn't want to put Robertson in such a high-leverage spot for the playoffs, they may have no choice if Hyman can't go.

The results from an MRI should be released on Sunday, and the Leafs are crossing their fingers there wasn't a break in Hyman's foot.
