T.J. Oshie Tosses Puck To Imaginary Fan: Refuses To Change Pregame Routine

Hockey players at all levels are known to have weird pregame rituals and routines. Many players have some crazy superstitions that even their teammates don't quite understand. T.J. Oshie is the latest example, as he still throws a puck over the glass to fans, even though the stands are empty.

Sidney Crosby is known for speaking to the same teammates and saying the exact same thing before games. He also refuses to wear a different jock strap and has worn the same one since playing Midget hockey.

It seems that these superstitions are not all that uncommon. The Washington Capitals have specific handshakes and Oshie also has a puck juggling routine.
"I flip the puck up to my trainer. We do this three times. I'll flip it to him and skate away. He'll toss it to be like a frisbee. I try to catch it on my stick and juggle it across. I'll catch it on my blade and find a fan in the crowd and toss it up to them and continue on with warmup."
What will it take for Oshie to adapt and change his pregame routine?
