Auston Matthews "embarrassed" by the Maple Leafs
Auston Matthews will always speak his mind, just ask Steve Simmons, and today, the Leafs met with the media and Matthews didn't hold back his feelings about the club.
Auston Matthews says "it's a little bit embarassing" that the #leafs have gone four straight seasons without winning a playoff series.

A lot of it is mindset. We have to figure out playoffs, and how to get out of the first round. I think four years [of losing], obviously it’s pretty frustrating and a little bit embarrassing as well
The Maple Leafs haven't won a playoff series in 15 years, and the last 4 years Matthews has witnessed it all. The team is open to making some major trades so expect some changes in Leafs land, and soon. The team is already talking trade with non-playoff teams and is expected to make some moves at the Draft.
For Matthews, he will be a UFA in 2024, and if the Leafs don't have some success, and soon, Leafs Nation will be watching Matthews from a far.
