Mike Green has retired from the NHL after 15 seasons
Mike Green has announced via the Athletic, he is retiring from the NHL after playing 15 seasons.
Green was one of the best offensive defensemen of his era, and played for Washington, Detroit, and 2 games this season for the Edmonton Oilers. Green opted out of the Bubble playoffs before deciding to hang up his skates.
Green, soon to be 35, finishes his career with 501 points in 880 games, to go along with 37 points in 76 playoff games.
