BREAKING: Thursday and Friday's NHL playoffs games have been postponed

According to reports, there will be no NHL games played tonight as the players have decided to boycott the games and use their platform to bring awareness to social injustice.

Players in the bubble are telling me they’re not playing tonight. But we await official announcement from the NHL and NHLPA.

Regardless of what your stance is on the matter, the players have decided to use their platform.

There's a lot of back and forth going on right now, but it sounds like tomorrow's NHL games could be postponed as well as the ones scheduled for tonight.

Spoke to @Dreamer_Aliu78 who tells me it was the players who initiated the discussion w/ @TheOfficialHDA last night. Scott Laughton, James van Riemsdyk & Kevin Shattenkirk all reached out to Chris Stewart, looking for advice on what to do. It led to today's large #NHL group call

Still some confusion as of 3:52pm as the NHL and NHLPA are still on a call....

Still no official word on tomorrow. Original sense was today’s postponed games would be played tomorrow and everything moves one day. Some player concern over the brevity of a 1 day/night postponement.
