Flyers head coach calls out Claude Giroux's disappearing act
If you want to win in the playoffs, your best players need to play like your best players. In Philadelphia, that's currently not happening with the Flyers and their head coach is sick of it.
The Flyers lost game 3 of their series against the New York Islanders, and their head coach laid into their, what's supposed to be top-players including Claude Giroux:
We need to be a lot better than we were tonight, especially our top-end guys. It was 1-1, 25 seconds left in the period, faceoff in the offensive zone - I put my top players on the ice...and to give up that late goal, you just can't do that at this time of the year

Giroux had this to say after the game, as his playoff drought is starting to haunt him - "Guys are frustrated. We just got to take that frustration and turn it into energy".
The Flyers are now down 2-1 in their series with the Islanders. They'll need to find energy, and the back of the net if they want to stay in the Bubble.
