Flyers head coach calls out Montreal's coaching staff!
The Philadelphia Flyers had lots to say after getting blanked in game 2. The Montreal Canadiens were led by Carey Price, who stole the show and helped the Habs win 5-0. However, it turns out Montreal's 1st power play unit is the one getting all the attention, and let's just say the Flyers brass is a little ticked.
Would you put your first power play unit on when you're up by almost a touchdown? Kirk Muller certainly did, and the Flyers HC let them have it:
Muller addressed the matter and basically said his team needs the practice, and he's probably right. Teams haven't played much hockey the last 4 months, so why not try and get your PP going when the playoffs are still fresh and you're not facing elimination.
Just an idea.
