Ivan Barbashev Is The First Player To Leave The Bubble

Ivan Barbashev has left the NHL's secure zone in Edmonton and is heading back to St. Louis to attend the birth of his first child.

Barbashev and the St. Louis Blues have played only one round-robin game so far. They have a bye into the first round and therefore need not play in the qualifying round. Upon his return, he will have to quarantine in his hotel room for four days and must receive four consecutive negative Covid-19 tests before returning to play.
