Eric Francis: “GM Treliving will have no choice but to make significant personnel changes. That starts with Johnny Gaudreau. He’s likely played his last game as a Calgary #Flames player … No chance he’d re-sign in 2022, so he needs to be dealt well before then. Now is the time.”
While the Florida Panthers, Colorado Avalanche, Montreal Canadiens, and Buffalo Sabres will be interested in Gaudreau, it appears he wants to stay in town...for now.Elliotte Friedman live right now on NHL Network says he believes the Calgary #Flames will “investigate some serious surgery” on their roster this offseason. Adds the Pittsburgh Penguins are contemplating some bigger changes as well. #LetsGoPens
