Jonathan Drouin & Conor Sheary Embarrassingly Miss Penalty Shots With Playoff Game On The Line
Shootouts are the ultimate tie-breaker during the regular season after a 3-on-3 overtime. However, yesterday's playoff game between the Montreal Canadiens and Pittsburgh Penguins had its own type of shootout. Conor Sheary of the Penguins and Jonathan Drouin of the Canadiens are both skilled players, but their penalty shot attempts were absolutely horrendous. Check it out.
Sheary was awarded a penalty shot with 3:03 left in regulation of a 2-2 tie game. This was just an awful attempt.

Although both players did not score on their respective penalty shots, this was the first NHL postseason game with two penalty shots since March 29, 1923.
