Maple Leafs received multiple trade offers!

The Toronto Maple Leafs pulled the trigger on a trade on Tuesday, sending Kasperi Kapanen to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Turns out Pittsburgh wasn't the only team blowing up GM, Kyle Dubas' phone. The Leafs have been talking trade with as many as 10 teams.

According to Pierre LeBrun of the Athletic, the likes of Chicago, New Jersey, Nashville, Anaheim, Minnesota, Carolina all got deep into trade discussions with the Leafs regarding Kasperi Kapanen. The Leafs had one thing on their mind with these talks - a 1st round pick. Turns out the Pens were the first to cave.

It's also noted the Edmonton Oilers and Montreal Canadiens were 'made aware' Kapanen was ready to be dealt.

The Leafs GM has the spotlight on him to make some substantial moves this off season and Kyle Dubas certainly got the ball rolling. A package of a solid prospect, the #15 overall pick and savings of $3.2 million is a great deal for Toronto for a player who scored 13 goals.

What's next? That's anybody's guess.
