Rumor: Calgary receives trade offer for Johnny Gaudreau

The Calgary Flames are in 'blow-up' mode and big changes are coming to their current roster. While the team appears to be headed to being built around Matthew Tkachuk, the trade chatter is picking up, and fast for Johnny Gaudreau.

According to Metro Media in Montreal, the Canadiens and Flames are discussing a deal involving Max Domi, Ryan Poehling and a draft pick for Johnny Gaudreau.

The deal would certainly send shock waves through the hockey world and be step one for both teams with their off season plans. For the Habs, they surprised themselves and are closer to going for it then they thought. 

Meanwhile for the Flames, it's time to pass the torch to Matthew Tkachuk and it sounds like 'Johnny Hockey' will be the one handing things off.
