Minnesota Wild trying hard to trade Mats Zuccarello
When the Minnesota Wild signed Mats Zuccarello last off season they were expecting big things from the small forward, and unfortunately, the bill didn't live up to the hype. Wild GM, Bill Guerin was on record last week stating the team wasn't good enough and changes were on the horizon and the team is looking to move 'Zuke' just one year after signing his ticket.
Friedman says the #mnwild were not happy with Mats Zuccarello, but that's a tough contract to move.

Zuccarello does hold a no-move-clause so any deal he will have final say. The soon-to-be 33 year old has 4 years left at $6 million, so a hefty price indeed. Zuccarello struggled with 37 points in 65 games for the Wild just one year after putting up almost a point a game for the Rangers and a short stint with the Stars.
Look for the Wild to make a few deals this off season, and if they have their way, Zuccarello will be included. Teams like Calgary, Nashville and Buffalo are expected to be interested. It will all be up to Mats.
