Rumor: Pittsburgh and Montreal could pull off blockbuster trade!
The Pittsburgh Penguins are currently a mess and GM, Jim Rutherford is ready to make major changes. The rumors have been flying on who stays and who goes, and this time around, it's who's coming. According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, Max Domi of the Habs is on the Pens' radar.

Friedman: "Here's an early bet as to who could be a Penguin next year: Max Domi."
Marek mentions how the Domi family and Lemieux family are close, it kind of lines up, it makes sense, he would not be surprised by that at all.#GoHabsGo #LetsGoPens
It certainly does make a ton of sense and the early consensus is the Pens would offer Nick Bjugstad and a pick to get the discussions moving. Meanwhile, there's a sense, if the Pens are willing to retain some money, the Habs would love for Kris Letang to come home. The only way the Habs will take Letang is if the Pens eat at least $1 million of his $7.25 million dollar deal for the next two seasons.
These two teams are turning into interesting trade partners and it has everything to do with one guy......
