Rumor: Taylor Hall done in Arizona, 3 potential destinations

The Arizona Coyotes were eliminated handily by the Colorado Avalanche as Taylor Hall and his teammates were given a front row seat to what a championship caliber team looks like. The Avs absolutely dominated the 'Yotes, and now the decisions begin for Taylor Hall and his team of choice for next season. Early word is, it won't be back in the desert.

With everything that's gone on in Arizona, from the cheating allegations at the draft, to the fight between the CEO and the ex-GM, now to getting booted like this, there's zero chance Hall re-ups in 'Zona. - western conference exec

Taylor Hall is the captain of his own ship, which players wait a long time for in their careers. Here are 3 teams who Hall can expect to hear from:

1. Calgary Flames - think John Tavares with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Flames want Hall and will do whatever they have to do to sign him, including trading from their current core to make it work. Hall is from Calgary, so if you like betting on the favorite, pick the Flames.

2. Buffalo Sabres - the Sabres are willing to overspend by a mile for Hall, just to try and keep Jack Eichel happy. This duo would be the most powerful skating tandem in the league and would be something to see each and every night. Unfortunately for Buffalo, they would still need a goalie and a ton of depth, and when you add Hall to the books, it doesn't leave much for wiggle room.

3. Montreal Canadiens - Habs GM, Marc Bergevin loves Taylor Hall and would like to see him in the blue, red and white. The Canadiens have a bit of cap space to work with and could make it work, just means Max Domi is likely traded to facilitate the signing. Hall would join a Canadiens team capable of surprising the league. Just ask the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Honorable mention to the Colorado Avalanche who Hall could sign a short-term deal with to chase a Cup. They have a ton of cap space and play a style that suits Hall to a tee.
