Vegas head coach makes huge announcement
The Vegas Golden Knights are gearing up for their opening game of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and it looks like they will be turning to a new face to protect their crease. Head coach, Peter DeBoer announced the Golden Knights will be starting Robin Lehner against the Dallas Stars, in what some are calling a very surprising recent turn of events.
Although Marc-Andre Fleury is laced with a ton of playoff experience, Lehner has been rock solid for the Knights in his short rehearsal and has won over the confidence of his coaching staff.
The 29-year-old, brought over from the Blackhawks, has come in to Vegas and been perfect with a 3-0 record, to go along side a 1.67 gaa and a .940 save%. Stellar numbers but this move is still a bit of a shock as MAF has been a legend in the playoffs and has been nothing but special for the Knights since day one of his arrival.
Do you agree with this move?
