Hockey's best insider drops Jack Eichel bomb!

Jack Eichel is frustrated and wants to win. If that means with his current team the Buffalo Sabres, great, if not, Eichel would prefer to be in a situation where winning is top priority. Recently there's been more chatter surrounding the Sabres captain and leave it up to Bob McKenzie of TSN to come out of semi-retirement to add some context.

The messaging out of BUF is Sabres aren’t shopping Eichel, there’s no real desire to trade him, but since Kevyn Adams became new GM several clubs have called about Eichel’s availability. NYR believed to be one of the teams that called. So calls were made; calls were taken.

Sabres fans are starting to get worried as teams are upping their offers to try and change Buffalo's mind about keeping their captain. At this point it's going to take a huge offer that basically sets the Sabres up for a complete rebuild and it doesn't sound like anything of this nature is close. 

The NHL draft on October 6th could change that, so keep an eye on Buffalo and there desire to employ Jack Eichel.
