Oilers top-prospect heading to Europe

The Edmonton Oilers have announced that one of their top-prospects, defenseman Evan Bouchard is heading to play hockey in Europe.

The loan has an NHL opted-out, and it's expected that Bouchard will just play the beginning of the season for the Sodertalje SK in Sweden.

Bouchard was a top-10 pick in 2018, and is still on 20 years old. He had 36 points in 54 games in the AHL last season and is expected to be a regular in the Oilers lineup this upcoming year.

Let's just hope he doesn't find the same bed and breakfast as Jesse Puljujarvi or else the Oilers may never see him again.
