Rumor: Marc-Andre Fleury Has Submitted No-Trade List To Vegas Golden Knights

The hockey world was shocked when the Pittsburgh Penguins left Marc-Andre Fleury unprotected during the Vegas Golden Knights expansion draft. The hockey world was shocked again when goaltender Robin Lehner was selected to be the starter in the playoffs, instead of Fleury. The Golden Knights are shopping the future hall-of-fame goaltender and have asked that he submit a list of teams he would not like to be traded to.
Fleury did not have a stellar regular season, but the passing of his father has been extremely tough for him. He played just 4 playoff games this year, tallying respectable 2.27 GAA and a 9.10 Save %. Lehner was selected to start over Fleury, and is rumored to be close to finalizing a contract extension.

Jesse Granger of The Athletic revealed that Fleury is rumored to have submitted his revised list of teams that he is unwilling to be traded to as part of the modified no-trade clause in his contract. This list is comprised of 10 teams, but his $7 million cap hit could prevent the Golden Knights from finding a suitable trade partner.

It appears that Marc-Andre Fleury's days in Vegas are over.
