Steven Stamkos ruled out for the rest of the Stanley Cup Finals
The Steven Stamkos story is one that's filled with class, passion, sportsmanship, and full of good people. Sure, there may also be some disappointment, freak injuries, a bunch of resilience, and it's loaded with dedication to try and be the best for the longest amount of time possible.
Steven Stamkos has it all going for him. It's just too bad we don't get a chance to see more.
Tampa Bay Lightning head coach, Jon Cooper announced Steven Stamkos has been ruled out for the remainder of the Stanley Cup Finals.
Hopefully the next time we see him on the ice is during a trophy presentation. - Jon Cooper
After 211 days off Stamkos managed to play just under three minutes during a emotional return in game 3 of the Finals. 3 minutes of ice-time after nine weeks in the Bubble - 'Dedication 101'. A classy and timely team guy 'Stammer' buried a sick snipe flying down the wing, writing one of the best chapters to a playoff story in hockey history.
Tampa fans are hoping Stamkos is saving the final chapter for the Cup Celebration.
