Blockbuster Report: Steven Stamkos Could Be on the Move
According to several reports the Tampa Bay Lightning may have no choice but to trade captain, Steven Stamkos.

Cup champs TB have let it be known to other teams they aim to be aggressive in offloading 💰. How aggressive? Hearing teams have been told only four Bolts are unavailable/untouchable: Vasilevskiy; Hedman; Point; Kucherov. Presumably, RFAs Cirelli, Sergachev and Cernak, too.
A big reason for moving 💵 is to be able to sign those young RFAs. Notably absent from untouchable list is captain Steven Stamkos. That doesn’t guarantee Stamkos will be dealt but it’s within realm of possibility though his health could obviously be a factor.

While this certainly seems 'unlikely' when Bob McKenzie makes time to mention there's a possibility....well, there's a possibility.
Tampa Bay is committed to their core moving forward and with several restricted free-agents up for renewal this off season, they will need to be creative to keep everyone they would like to keep.
Tampa is going to try and run it back next season, and if they do, there's a chance the Commissioner hands off the Stanley Cup to someone other than Steven Stamkos.
