Buffalo Sabres Sign RFA Forward
The Buffalo Sabres have announced a one-year agreement with restricted free-agent, Sam Reinhart, that will pay the player $5.2 million for next season.
The soon to be 25-year-old is coming off a year where he finished with 50 points in 69 games. With a deeper team in Buffalo, Reinhart should be able to eclipse 65 points next year.

Reinhart could see some time on the team's top line with Jack Eichel and Taylor Hall, and he could see some time skating with newly acquired Eric Staal. Either way, the Sabres are expecting a 30-goal season and next year could be the year Reinhart takes another jump in his development.
Reinhart's arbitration meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, now both the player and the team have some extra time on their hands. They'll both tell you that's totally OK with them.

He plays a ton, drives shot quality share, creates scoring opportunities for others, outscores his xG (partly because he shoots from the perimeter a bit), and manages penalties very well. Good deal for BUF.https://t.co/fbxaBulVWt pic.twitter.com/F1h0vr3HV0
