Carolina Hurricanes Lock Up RFA Defenseman
The Carolina Hurricanes have announced they have signed restricted free-agent defenseman, Haydn Fleury to a two-year deal, that pays the Regina, Saskatchewan native $1.3 million per season.
The 24-year-old former first-rounder, played in 45 games last season collecting 10 points and chipped in with 2 more goals in the playoffs. Fleury is starting to come into his own, and is slowly shaping into a excellent two-way d-man for the 'Canes.
Great team-friendly deal by Fleury who will be loved in the dressing room full of Jerks even more now!
