Coyotes' Oliver Ekman-Larsson Sets His Own Trade Deadline
Oliver Ekman-Larsson has informed the Boston Bruins and the Vancouver Canucks, 'you have until Friday October 9th to trade for me, or else I am staying in Arizona'.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson through his agent, Kevin Epp has imposed a Friday deadline for a trade to either Boston or Vancouver. “We think the best option for a trade is before free agency,” Epp told TSN. “If no deal by Friday, Oliver is staying in Arizona.”

With the uncertainty surrounding next season and the preparation and hard work it takes away from the rink, Ekman-Larsson wants a move in place so he can start planning his life, from all accounts.
The Coyotes captain will be sure to fetch a mega-return for Arizona, as the team is trying to save money and recoup a ton of draft picks over the course of the next two seasons.
OEL finished last season with 30 points in 66 games and has labelled Vancouver and Boston as the only other teams he's interested in playing for.
Boston and Vancouver, you are now on the clock!
