Here's Where Taylor Hall Almost Ended Up!
Taylor Hall was pondering his options during his brief free-agent stint and ultimately it was his old coach in Edmonton that he wanted a second chance to play for in Buffalo. What people don't realize is, Hall almost ended up in the desert.
According to Elliotte Friedman's 31 Thoughts podcast, the Vegas Golden Knights went hard after Taylor Hall and were looking to building a super team. The team has been open to moving out the likes of Alec Martinez, Max Pacioretty, and more to make it happen!
Elliotte Friedman on 31 Thoughts: “I think Pacioretty was available. Marchessault was available. Martinez was available. #VegasBorn saying Fleury’s not going anywhere, I think you’ve gotta consider the possibility more could be coming. They have to get cap compliant, we’ll see.”

The NHL would have broke the internet if Alex Pietrangelo and Taylor Hall signed in Vegas. For now, it's just 'Petro' who is a new resident of Nevada, but by the sounds of it, that could be changing soon!
For Taylor Hall, he's hoping a familiar coach and a new best friend will be the perfect recipe for success.
