Huge Update on the Oliver Ekman-Larsson Trade Front
Oliver Ekman-Larsson gave both the Vancouver Canucks and Boston Bruins a deadline of Friday to facilitate a trade and after both final offers were submitted this morning, no deal was agreed upon and Ekman-Larsson is staying in Arizona.
Which could be somewhat of an awkward 'reunion' OEL heads back to Arizona where he has seven years left on his contract paying him north of $8million.
No Ekman-Larsson deal by his deadline.

Look for the Canucks to turn their interest to their starting goaltending and now Boston's focus will shift to free-agent Alex Pietrangelo.
Going to be a wild Friday in the NHL, get your popcorn ready!
