Montreal GM looking to make a splash at the Draft!
Pierre LeBrun of TSN confirmed on Thursday, the Montreal Canadiens are open to trading their 16th overall draft pick. The team is talking trade with several teams and using this trade chip, trying to land a top-6 forward.
The Canadiens surprised everyone, including themselves at this years' NHL playoffs, and know that if they can land some more fire-power up-front, the team has a chance to do some damage next year.
Some names the team has been linked to include Patrik Laine of the Jets, Johnny Gaudreau of the Flames, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins of the Oilers and Brandon Saad of the Blackhawks.
