New Jersey looking to trade multiple first-round picks
According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the New Jersey Devils are trying to make a move leading up to the draft and are open to trade 2 of their 3 first-round picks.
The hockey insider mentions the later two picks are available, which are the 18th and 20th overall picks.
One team the Devils may have their eyes on is the Tampa Bay Lightning, who coming off their Stanley Cup win, have some major decisions to make. Their salary cap constraints could mean no money being left for Mikhail Sergachev and a deal could be facilitated between the two clubs.
Elliotte Friedman, 31 Thoughts: “I could see New Jersey being interested in someone like Mikhail Sergachev if he’s available. In theory a him for a 1st RD deal at minimum just in my brain makes sense. Both sides have to wanna do it. I think #NJDevils will be very active” #GoBolts

The Devils are looking for young top-4 defensemen in any deal, or young wingers who have potential to put the puck in the net.
Keep an eye on the Devils, they will be active over the next week!
