Penguins Sign Cody Ceci to One-Year Deal
The Pittsburgh Penguins and Cody Ceci have agreed to terms on a one-year deal that sees the right-handed defenseman make $1.25 million next season. This according to TSN's Darren Dreger.
Ceci spent last season in Toronto and things didn't go as planned. It was a constant struggle for Ceci as a Maple Leaf and Leafs Nation and the Toronto media let Ceci have it on a regular basis.
The Ottawa, Ontario native finished with 8 points in 56 games, after arriving in Toronto in a multi-player deal from the Ottawa Senators.
For the Penguins, this rounds out their defensive six, as Kris Letang, John Marino and Cody Ceci will be the team's defensemen on their right-side.
For the Penguins it's 'hello' for Leafs Nation, it's thanks for coming out...
