Radko Gudas Signs With the Florida Panthers

The Florida Panthers have signed Radko Gudas to a three-year contract, worth $2.5 million per season.

With an assortment of offensively gifted defensemen on their roster it was expected the Panthers would be looking for a physical piece to add to their mix.

Gudas played last season with the Washington Capitals where the rugged d-man collected 15 points in 63 games. Those stats are basically irrelevant for Gudas as it's his penalty-killing, shot-blocking and physical play that team's have interest in. He's played in 479 career games and each one of them he's put in his full work ethic and played a fearless game.
