Rumor: Alex Pietrangelo Has Agreed to his New Contract

The Alex Pietrangelo sweepstakes has been fascinating to watch so far on Friday as multiple teams have called Pietrangelo's camp with their pitches to join their team and city and of course, to discuss the money and cents of the deal. According to sources close to the Vegas Golden Knights, a deal is very close to being finalized and announced.

Pietrangelo would go to Vegas with a Stanley Cup championship resume, and open wallet, and the ability to take over the Golden Knight's power-play. Along with Shea Theodore, the two could form one of the best pairs in the league.

Nothing is final until it's announced and there's a great chance it will be sometime this weekend.
