Rumor: Edmonton Oilers to Sign Kyle Turris
The Nashville Predators decided to waive forward Kyle Turris this week, in order to perhaps make some cap room for free-agent Taylor Hall. Turris carried a big ticket and never really lived up to the hype for the Predators. Turns out the Edmonton Oilers don't care.

Kyle Turris, bought out by Nashville, has received interest from several teams. I believe the Edmonton Oilers are one of those teams.
Several reports have surfaced mentioning the Oilers are in on Turris as they try to find ways to create secondary scoring for their two-headed monster of a lineup.
The team has also been linked to Tyson Barrie as general manager, Ken Holland tries to re-tool his lineup on the fly.
Turris will come to the Oilers for cheap, as normally after a buy-out, the player signs for something around the league minimum. If the Oilers don't finalize the deal, expect the Ottawa Senators to swoop in and sign Turris under their noses.
Is this a good move for the Oilers?
