The Maple Leafs Are Getting Roasted For Signing Joe Thornton
The Toronto Maple Leafs announced this week they were bringing in 41-year-old, Joe Thornton on a one-year deal and Leafs Nation went crazy about the news. The excitement of having the veteran play in the team's bottom-six is real, but not everyone was over the moon about the news. The chirps started flying in from all over the place because they now have a couple players hovering the 40-year-old mark.

Have to admit, these are pretty funny, as fans around the NHL love to take advantage any time the Leafs are in the news. While Thornton may be an elder of the league, there's an outside chance the Leafs aren't done signing cheap veterans.
Keep an eye on Kyle Dubas as he may have one more trick up his sleeve...
