Foegele is coming off a year where he managed 13 goals and 30 points in 68 games. It was his second full season in the league and he doubled his points output from his rookie year, so Carolina was happy to keep Foegele in the fold. He's collected 48 points in 147 career NHL games.
The 24-year-old appears set to play on the team's third-line next year and has the ability to jump up to the top-six should there be an injury. The Hurricanes now have 22 players on their NHL roster and currently hold $1.239 million in available cap space.
