Kemp is 21, 6'3 and 201 pounds, he's a native of Greenwich, Connecticut and provides the Oilers with another defensive prospect for the cupboards.
Not only is Kemp a product on the ice, his performance off the ice has been recognized several times as well. He's a three time selection for the All-Academic team for the ECAC conference. Kemp was recently named the captain of his team before their season was cancelled a couple of weeks ago.
