New York Rangers Lock Up RFA Forward
The New York Rangers have announced they have come to an agreement with forward Ryan Strome on a two-year deal. The contract pays Strome $4.5 million per season to stay in the Big Apple.

Strome is coming off a solid year where the Mississauga, ON native tallied 59 points in 70 games, which was a career high. The 27-year-old is now into the prime of his career and expectations will be even higher have this contract was handed out to him. He was given a $1.4 million dollar raise with his new deal.
With the Rangers lottery luck, they have constructed themselves a solid top-9 and Strome will be a bit of a mystery. He may lose out on some power-play minutes, which is where he makes his bread, and he was uber productive when Mika Zibanejad was out of the lineup, tallying 16 points in 14 games.
Great contract for the player, however, keep an eye on Strome as he may be someone to stay away from on your fantasy team.

The New York Rangers have re-signed Ryan Strome to two-year deal, $4.5M per year. Strome is one-dimesional player who needs play with Panarin to be effective. It's not bad contract for Rags' second center. pic.twitter.com/49LCnQ5nUj
