Ottawa Senators Sign Free-Agent Forward
The Ottawa Senators have been busy this offseason acquiring a new goaltender, some defensive depth, and some secondary scoring up front. Now they found some toughness, as the team has announced they have signed free-agent Michael Haley to a one-year contract.

The two-way deal pays the 34-year-old the league minimum, $700,000 when he's suited up for the Sens in Ottawa.
Haley is tough as nails and won't be backing down from anyone, any time soon. Haley played 22 games for the New York Rangers last season and to no one's surprise collected 50 penalty minutes.
Senators general manager, Pierre Dorion had this to say on Haley's addition:
Micheal will bring experience, leadership, and additional physicality to our organization. He's looking forward to serving as a mentor for our young players
