Report: Detroit Adding Another Free-Agent
The Detroit Red Wings may still be bitter about losing out on the NHL's draft lottery, but they are not going to sit there and feel bad for themselves. Steve Yzerman has had a busy off season adding several pieces to overhaul his roster, and it looks like he's not done just yet.
Steve Yzerman said Wednesday he would consider adding another player to the Red Wings roster as the start of the season gets closer. Lots of free agents still available right now.

With Anthony Mantha now signed long term, and Tyler Bertuzzi under contract, the Wings have roughly $9.5 million left under the cap. The team has already brought in Bobby Ryan, Vladimir Namestnikov, Marc Staal, Thomas Griess, Jon Merrill, and Troy Stecher.
Options for their next move could include Mike Hoffman, Anthony Duclair, Sami Vatanen or Mikael Granlund.
One thing is for sure, don't expect to see the Red Wings tanking again for the top pick. We all know how that played out for them.
