Winnipeg Jets Sign Top-Pick to Entry-Level Deal
The Winnipeg Jets have announced they have signed Cole Perfetti to an entry-level contract that pays the prospect $925,000 per season. The deal also includes bonuses, which could see Perfetti make $1.658 million per season if he reaches all his milestones.
Perfetti was selected 10th overall by the Jets out of the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League. Last season with the Spirit, Perfetti collected 111 points in 61 games, after scoring 37 goals the year before during his rookie season in the OHL. Needless to say, there's a very good chance the Jets have a star on their hands.

With the uncertainty surrounding the OHL this season, look for the Jets to take a very long look at if Perfetti can help them now, and slide into the #3 center hole.
Training camp will be fun, welcome to the show kid!
