The 40-year-old American tender appeared in 23 games last season with the Ducks and posted a 3.10 goals against average and a .907 save percentage. Miller will be a key piece to the Ducks this season as with the condensed schedule there will be in the neighborhood of 10 back to backs for the Ducks and starter, John Gibson will need some relief.
Miller has been one of the leagues best back up goaltenders the past few years after spending more than a decade in Buffalo as the #1.
The all-time leader in goalie wins by an American has played 780 career NHL games and even though there was interest from Pittsburgh, Washington and Colorado, Miller heads back to the Ducks for his fourth season.
