Blue Jackets' Cam Atkinson Calls Out His Haters!

Cam Atkinson is sick and tired of being doubted and he's fed up with his haters saying his production with the Columbus Blue Jackets had everything to do with Artemi Panarin and nothing to do with his talent.

Atkinson recently spoke to the media and didn't hold back on his feelings towards all the noise: 

It definitely lights a fire under my ass. The season before (Panarin left), I had 41 goals, and so right away (in 2019-20) people are like, 'He's nothing without Panarin.' I mean, seriously. (Panarin) is a great player, no doubt. But I had f------ (35 goals) the year before Panarin and (27) the year before that. People are pretty quick to turn the page without really knowing what's up. And shit like that ... that really fuels my fire

Atkinson has a point, he's been lighting the lamp for years. The year before Panarin showed up he had 24 goals in 65 games. The previous two years to that he scored 35 and 27. Sounds like his haters need to take a seat.
